Yes I was there today at the Restore Sanity and/or Fear Rally today and yes I really like living in our nation’s capitol! Although there’s enough material from the Rally for a thousand blogs, here’s a short summary: really great music, kind and courteous crowd, perfect weather, everyone having fun, a very energizing day. Sanity is a tough sell – not exciting, not sexy – but somehow it came through.
Lots of people showed up with handmade signs - some were funny and some had a message. Some are posted at the Washingon Post but there were just so many, it doesn’t begin to capture them all. Luckily for you dear reader out there in the nation's heartland, I kept a list of my favorites.
